Obesity And Insulin
The majority of the population is now overweight, and over ten percent have diabetes. There are a number of reasons for this, with a big one being poor nutrition.
Ultra-processed foods, which are rich in refined carbohydrates and severely lacking in essential nutrients, are a major factor fueling the obesity and diabetes epidemics. Their high consumption triggers chronically elevated insulin levels, which directly promote weight gain. These foods are also specifically engineered to be hyperpalatable and calorie-dense, encouraging overconsumption. Furthermore, their poor nutritional profile fails to signal satiety, leading people to mindlessly consume excessive calories, inevitably contributing to further weight gain.
Replacing these foods with nose-to-tail nourishing animal foods like organs, meat, and fat will lead to dramatic improvements in health.

NOSE-TO-TAIL SUPPLEMENTS
Nose-To-Tail Supplements Provide Ancient Nutrition
Families are returning to nose-to-tail supplements for ancient nutrition, following in the path of our ancestors, who ate prized beef organs. Nose-to-tail eating is built on the concept of wasting nothing and honoring the whole animal for nourishment.
Years of bad nutritional recommendations led to an avoidance of these incredibly nourishing foods. A move to plant-based diets has led to significant nutritional deficiencies because plant foods are missing out on many of the bioavailable vitamins and minerals, peptides, and enzymes only found in animal foods, which come from nose-to-tail eating.
The solution to improving nutritional status is nose-to-tail nourishment. This has served humanity well since hunter-gatherer times. Foraging for food and eating animals is akin to maintaining a healthy, natural, sustainable ecosystem where animals have always been used for food, and with death sequesters carbon back into the soil, to regenerate the land and helps provide new life, more native plants and vegetation, for birds and wildlife to survive and coexist.

Animal Fats Are Nourishing And Healthy
Eating saturated fats from well-raised ruminants (cows, sheep, goats, etc), such as tallow, ghee, and butter, provides valuable nourishment. In addition, they are very low in omega-6 (linoleic acid).
Vegetable and seed oils (canola, sunflower, safflower, grape seed, etc) contain high levels of omega-6. Nearly everyone consumes far too much omega-6. This leads to a very imbalanced omega-6:3 ratio, which contributes to significant health issues.
For cooking, beef tallow, made from suet, is hands down the best. If you tolerate dairy, ghee and butter are great options as well.
Replacing high omega-6 rich vegetable and seed oils with healthy animal fats and wild-caught fatty fish and fish eggs is one of the best and easiest ways to dramatically improve your health.
